Can Natasha Peay's friendship with Mayweather propel her to victory at Mr. Olympia 2024?

It was 6 years ago when Natasha Peay first commenced her bodybuilding journey and now years of hard work, sweat, and pain have culminated in her debut at Mr. Olympia 2024. However, she was not alone in the journey, as her friends, family, and team stood with her throughout every disappointment and defeat. But there is one more friend that she is blessed to have beside her, and that is Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Peay won the 2024 Tanji Johnson Classic Pro wellness show and secured her slot in the wellness division at Mr. Olympia 2024. It was Peay’s first pro win after turning pro in 2020 and now she looks to build on it. She might have to topple the likes of Francielle Mattos, who remains the only competitor to win the Wellness Olympia since its first edition in 2021. But worry not. Wishing her the best in her endeavor is Mayweather Jr., 47, who sent her a heartfelt message before the tournament.

This is not the first time that Mayweather Jr. has publicly expressed his affection for Peay. Two years ago, ‘Money’ took to his Instagram handle to wish Peay a happy birthday. In return, Peay pointed out their deep bond, which went back 15 years, well before Peay started her bodybuilding journey. What’s more?

Natasha Peay was also in the audience when the former world champion rematched John Gotti III in August. It seems their bond transcends the boundaries of sports and collaborations and Peay is lucky to have Mayweather Jr. as a friend. While she is feeling the pressure of competing at Mr. Olympia, her incredible journey is also worth sharing.

Natasha Peay recalls her tumultuous journey

In a recent post by Peay, she went down memory lane and shared her bodybuilding journey. She shared two photos along with the post, one when she had just started her journey, and one when she had confirmed her slot. She called it a route filled with “hard work, learning, and self-discovery.” She also detailed how she made the transition from bikini to wellness division.
