Boxing legend Mike Tyson talked about the living condition during his early days in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, New York. A young Mike Tyson was raised in the hood. He was 10-years old when he moved to the Brownsville neighborhood with his family. Apparently, the city was affected by crime and banned substances, which also took a toll on young Tyson’s life.

Tyson was arrested several times in his teens. However, the boxer overcame all the adversities and made history by becoming the youngest heavyweight champion at the age of 20.
The Brooklyn native later flourished in his professional career and has a record of 50-6 under his name. Today, ‘Iron Mike’ is regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time. However, he never forgets his roots.
In a recent episode of the ‘Million Dollaz Worth Of Game’ podcast with the rapper, Gillie Da King, and social media influencer, Wallo267, Tyson recalled his earlier life.

He said, “That’s what we were savages out there. Survival of the fittest. Even if we know you, if you are weak we gonna get you ni**a. If you don’t shoot somebody, that’s disrespectful. You ain’t sh**t in Brownville.”

Although the boxing legend has retired from the sport, Tyson made his return and fought Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition boxing match in 2020. Ever since then, many fans have been speculating on another appearance of the former heavyweight champion.

One of his speculated opponents includes the YouTuber turned professional boxer, Jake Paul. The latter has gone 5-0 in his boxing career and has also defeated a former UFC champion in one of his fights.

However, ‘The Problem Child’ is currently without an opponent for his next fight. Hence, many believed a potential match between Tyson and Paul might come to fruition. But ‘Iron Mike’ has shut all the claims of his fight with Paul.

In an episode of his own podcast, Tyson said, “I don’t know nothing about this. Listen, I’ve been smoking with him since forever. I did some shrooms with him as well.”

“But I’ve never heard this. I was with him in St. Bart’s not too long ago, partying, never told me this. I’ve never heard this from anybody. I’m just chilling out with you guys,” Tyson concluded.
