It looks like Tommy Fury did indeed ‘fumble the bag’. The Love Island star had set up a fight against Jake Paul on December 18, with Paul promising Fury that it would be his biggest payday ever. However, two weeks before the fight, ‘TNT’ Fury had to pull out because of a chest infection and a fractured rib.

On such short notice, Paul replaced Fury with Tyron Woodley and fought the former UFC welterweight champion. Ever since the fight, ‘TNT’ has always expressed his will to take on ‘The Problem Child‘ again. However, according to Paul, Tommy’s elder brother Tyson Fury and his father John Fury have a better chance of fighting him.

“He wants the payday. But I said it before, I don’t wanna take the fight with him. He doesn’t deserve it. I’d rather fight Tyson (Fury). I’ll fight his brother or his dad before I’ll fight Tommy.”

Meanwhile, Paul seems eager to venture into MMA.

After a successful run in boxing, Paul is looking to make his MMA debut and replicate his success inside the Octagon to silence his biggest critic, Dana White. The UFC president does not share a good relationship with Paul and he does not see him as a professional fighter.

Despite him training MMA, fans are much more likely to see Jake Paul fight in a boxing ring. Hence, let’s take at the other fighters on Jake Paul’s radar.

“And then I think Canelo is on there. And I think that could happen towards the end of my career when I’m sort of in peak physical condition and have all that experience under my belt.”
