But that was before Sweeney hit the gym, donned her gloves, and shared some seriously fierce behind-the-scenes shots from the set.

The untitled biopic will dive deep into Christy Martin’s legendary two-decade career, but it’s not just about her knockouts in the ring. The film is set to explore her tumultuous personal life, including her troubled marriage to Jim Martin and the struggles that defined much of her story outside the spotlight. While the full plot remains under wraps, those sneak peeks have fans buzzing with excitement—not just for the film, but for Sweeney’s transformation into the boxing powerhouse.

Sydney Sweeney’s unreal transformation

The Los Angeles native shared two pictures from the sets. Earlier this week, someone leaked some pictures from the movie set, giving a glimpse of the actress’ look. Sweeney saw no point in gatekeeping the look after the leak. She stated that she has been working hard on her look to bring Martin’s story on the screen. “her journey is a testament to resilience, strength, and hope, and I’m honored to step into her shoes to share her powerful story with you all,” Sweeney captioned as she promised the fans to post more BTS photos soon.

The first picture shows the immaculate actress in front of her vanity van. The picture showed a proper definition of Sweeney’s delts and arm as the actress was rocking a mullet, similar to that of Martin. The next picture was inside the set of the movie, which could be Coalminer’s Daughter’s home in the movie. The Washington-born actress was flexing her biceps in front of her chair. Sweeney was looking buffed up as compared to her slim frame, which we have seen in her previous projects.

Well, the transformation left the world stunned as even stars like Ice Spice and Ellie Goulding were in awe of Sweeney’s unreal transformation.

Earning praises around the world

The British singer Ellie Goulding was one of the first ones to react as she commented, “Yesssss!! 🔥🔥🔥,” while being mightily impressed by these new looks and loving the dedication shown by the 27-year-old actress towards the role.

The Crew fame, Melissa O’Neil, has worked in an action series for more than 5 years now. She knows how hard it is to transform your body like that and perform action scenes. O’Neil acknowledged the hard work put in by Sweeney and was mind-blown by her newly ripped arms. She wrote, “THE DELTS! Wow! 🤯 nice work!” providing a sense of accomplishment to Sweeney.

American pop star also made sure to show her love and commented, “😍,” which was enough to let everyone know how much she admired the new look and dedication to it.

Sweeney was brilliant and near perfect in Immaculate and shined whenever she had to perform some kind of emotional scenes in her much-loved series ‘Euphoria’. So, if given a chance under the right director, she can pull off Martin’s character as well.
