Boxing fans have been buzzing about a potential matchup between Shakur Stevenson and Devin Haney for months. As two of the brightest young stars in the sport, many believe that a bout between these two would be a must-see event. However, in a recent interview on Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM, Stevenson seemed to downplay the idea that Haney is intentionally avoiding a fight with him. Despite this, there are still many grounds for anticipating a duel between these two.

With Stevenson’s move up to the lightweight division, interesting fights await to amuse the fans. ‘The Fearless’ might eventually have to cross paths with not just Haney, but boxers like Ryan Garcia, Gervonta Davis, Vasyl Lomachenko, and Teofimo Lopez among others. Unbeaten American professional boxer Shakur Stevenson recently gave an interview on Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM. The discussion covered a wide range of topics, including his recent fights and possible matchups with other boxers.

When the reporter questioned Stevenson about Devin Haney and whether he was ducking him, it was one of the most interesting moments. Stevenson responded by saying, “I wouldn’t say he’s ducking me. I don’t think he’s ducking me. But I think with Devin and me, I’ve known Devin since we were little kids. We’ve always been one weight class apart. So now that I’m going up to 135, 9 times out of 10 it’s only right for him to go to 140. So I understand it, but we will see how the world looks at it.”

Shakur calls out Haney; Speculations rise after sparring video resurfaces
