The fight between two of the biggest sensations in the boxing world just concluded with Gervonta Davis knocking out Ryan Garcia with a body shot. There was a lot of drama leading up to the fight, between the two fighters with both Garcia and Davis not holding back the least. One thing interesting that happened days before was Gervonta Davis claiming that he had spies in Garcia’s camp. At the time, Garcia appeared to have brushed it aside, but now it seems that there might be some truth to the claim.

Ryan Garcia recently made a statement revealing that he was clear about the ‘mole’s’ identity. This led to a lot of backlash on social media. Thus Garcia once again made a statement on Twitter in order to clear the air and explain his stance. Previously, when asked, Ryan Garcia appeared to have been totally unaffected by Davis’ claims of having spies in his camps.

Ryan Garcia issues clarification for his “mole” statement

It all started after ‘KingRy’ took to Instagram after his loss and expressed how sad he was to find out that there was a “mole” in his camp. Garcia thanked god that the identity of the “mole” was clear to him. It was clear that Garcia was very disheartened by the situation as it signifies the betrayal he must have felt. He wrote, “Actually sad I had a mole in my camp🐀 like wtf that’s crazy but thank God it’s brought to light now“.

Bleacher Report shared Ryan’s story on their Twitter account. This caused a lot of fans to go off on Ryan claiming that he was simply making excuses now that he has lost. Before the fight, Garcia brushed off Mayweather Promotions CEO’s spying allegations.

It seems this prompted the young boxer to come forward and explain his thoughts regarding what happened to him. Garcia wrote in the comments that people were taking it the wrong way.

He said that he only wrote it because he felt appalled that someone from his own team would change sides and betray him. He wrote, “It’s crazy that part of my team switch sides and crossed me“.

He further wrote that nothing would change the fact that he was indeed defeated. “I would never make that an excuse for sure. He beat me and that’s that“, he said.
