Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford, the undefeated 147 lbs world champions, have been bitter foes for a brief period. Although they are yet to meet inside the ring, the welterweight kingpins have constantly touted themselves superior to the other. That said, they could have fought in a potential title unification bout this year.

However, as their respective promoters couldn’t settle a deal, Spence Jr. had to carry forward with a blockbuster fight against Manny Pacquiao. This will take place on August 21. It left Crawford without a viable contender in sight until WBO ordered him to defend the belt against Shawn Porter.

Meanwhile, WBC/IBF champion Errol Spence Jr. doesn’t seem to hold grudges against ‘Bud’ any longer. In a recent media interaction, ‘The Truth’ addressed his views on Crawford and gave respect to his fellow American pugilist.
