Is Ryan Garcia's brutal honesty a breath of fresh air or too much for the sport?

Daniel Zellhuber is one of the scariest fighters and a showman who will do anything to entertain the audience. With a record of 15-1 in the lightweight division, he is the fastest-growing star in the combat sport and has got the name ‘Golden Boy.’ With his unabashed interviews and unafraid approach, he has made lots of rivals in this sport. And it looks like he has started a new rivalry with the former WBC interim lightweight champion, Ryan Garcia

An interaction that was supposed to be lighthearted turned into a fierce back-and-forth as Zellhuber threw an indirect jab toward Garcia, who strongly disliked the attitude shown by the UFC fighter.

Ahead of UFC 306: Riyad Season, the fighters sat down with Youtuber Nina Drama and answered some of her questions. She asked every fighter about their celebrity lookalike, a question that she had asked many times previously. While every fighter replied with a tad bit of eagerness, Zellhuber was not happy with the question. Without wasting a second, he quickly replied, “Oh Ryan Garcia, that moth*rf*cker. Every Instagram post, Every day, I post something like ‘Oh, I didn’t know Ryan Garcia was in MMA,'” showing his frustration over the fact that he has been compared with Garcia for a very long time now.

The YouTuber slightly aggravated the situation in a fun way when she suggested that Zellhuber should fight ‘King Ry’. The UFC youngster was not shy and did not back down. “You give me a thousand dollars and I will kill somebody. Imagine for a million,” replied Zellhuber, suggesting that he is ready to fight Garcia at any time.

The conversation left a bad taste in Garcia’s mouth as he commented on the video shared by Drama. Clearly, Garcia was not a fan of the comments made by the 25-year-old UFC fighter and called him a “clown,” ignoring all the warnings. “Got my clown fighting for me at UFC 😭😭,” commented Garcia. The comment could have been a mistake indicated by Drama herself as she replied, “I hope you meant CLONE 😅😂,” trying to de-escalate the situation.
