Daniel Dubois has become one of the most talked-about heavyweight prospects in a very short time. Dubois is set to take on Joe Joyce on November 28 in London in an all-British boxing showdown for the vacant European heavyweight title.
Additionally, Dubois’ British and Commonwealth title will also be up for grabs as both the rising prospects face off each other inside the ring later next month.
“No pressure. I feel relaxed. I am more prepared than the first fight,” Dubois said, “I am ready to go. 12, 20 rounds. How many rounds they want me to do.”

Dubois and Joyce were set to face each other in April this year. However, due to the global pandemic, the bout did not see the light of the day. Now scheduled to face each other, both the boxers have had several heated moments in the lead-up.
Earlier, Dubois got into an awkward exchange with Joyce’s mother in the press conference ahead of their upcoming bout.
Daniel Dubois promises a beating on Joe Joyce
Daniel Dubois had poked fun of Joyce’s mother, who is registered 93% blind. Responding to Joyce’s mother’s question, Dubois stated that she wouldn’t have to go through the sight of watching her son get knocked out inside the ring since she cannot see.

Speaking to iFL TV, Dubois shared his thoughts on Joe’s response to the exchange and revealed what sets him apart from other boxers.
“I think he’s bluffing. It’s just, I don’t know. If he says, he’s gonna do that, then yeah, good luck to him. I will be doing all the hurting, I can’t really comment too much on that. I think he’s just talking really.” Dubois added, “I’ve got a lot more. You haven’t seen the best of me yet. Hopefully, this finally works.”

Dubois is coming off a spectacular stoppage win over Ricardo Snijders, which took place early this year inside BT Sport Studio, London. After securing four knockdowns in under two rounds, Dubois earned a comfortable victory in the opening seconds of the second round to confirm a championship shot against Joe Joyce.
A lot has been said about Daniel Dubois. Many regard him as the brightest prospect in the history of the heavyweight division for quite some time now. Come November, it will be interesting to see if Dubois can live up to the hype.
