Mike Tyson was one of the most fearsome boxers of his time. His quick footwork and frightening knockout power made him one of the best boxers to ever live, eventually garnering him the nickname ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’.

However, this wasn’t always the case, as Tyson described the first time he had ever fought in his life.

‘Iron Mike’ recently made an appearance on the Pivot Podcast hosted by former NFL Stars Channing Crowder, Fred Taylor, and Ryan Clark and shared the story of his first fight.
Taylor asked Tyson about the time when he apparently beat his classmate and Tyson had this to say,” I had a fight with a guy, but then I fought with his father when I was a kid though yeah.” shocked by this statement Crowder then asked Tyson if he really beat up a son and his father. He said, “You fought a son and his daddy on the same day and whooped them both the same day.”
Moreover, he then praised Tyson, “You were 11 years old whopping grownups. It was something special. Why is your hand different than your hand”. Crowder added.

Tyson then described his experience fighting for the first time. “Listen, man, I’m going to tell you some f****ng s**t. It’s no bada** shit I was just a baby you gotta be picking on me stop boom your out. My right hand to god I was so scared I didn’t know what to do and then one afternoon, you better f**ing fight him back and I started fighting and that was the rest might kill my pigeon it was a was wrap”.

Tyson has come a long way from the scared little kid he once was. He first made his mark in the world of boxing after becoming the youngest heavyweight champion in history at just 20 years old. Another significant moment came in 1996 after he beat Frank Bruno to regain the heavyweight title, which he lost to Buster Douglas back in 1990.
During his prime, Tyson could end fights in a blink of an eye with his power, moreover, his ruthless attitude struck fear in his opponents, which made him one of the most fearsome boxers ever.
