Former heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder has the opportunity to shock the world. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ won his arbitration case against Tyson Fury and will face ‘The Gypsy King’ for the third time. Victory against Fury would not only avenge his loss but also make him the WBC champion again.
The pair will meet on July 24, and Wilder has already started training hard for the bout. In addition, the American showed his desire to knockout Fury when he said he wanted to decapitate him. And such is the confidence Wilder has now given his thoughts on a potential bout with Anthony Joshua.

The 42-1-1 boxer spoke to Premier Boxing Champions on an Instagram Livestream, and Fighthype.com caught onto it. When asked about a potential undisputed title bout with Anthony Joshua, Wilder said,

“Y’all already know what I want, man. But, as I’m hearing, they’re already making up excuses. You know we’re going to hear about mandatories and that other bullsh*t, man. But I want them to keep that same energy.”
Thus, this comment showed Wilder believes Joshua will duck him. He then added, “They tried to make the Fury fight. So, I mean, sh*t, he said it ain’t about the man, it’s about the person with the belt, right? Alright then, we’re going to hold their word to that.”

Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua: The history
The comments from Wilder showed he wants to face Joshua. However, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has already started the war of words and suggested that ‘AJ’ and his team did not have the same enthusiasm to make the fight with him as they did with Fury.

The two heavyweights have a history together, as rumors have constantly linked them to a bout. The strongest links came after the first Wilder-Fury bout. However, the fight fell through since Wilder demanded a lot of money.

Now, as seen with the Tyson Fury agreement, money is no longer an issue for Anthony Joshua and his team. Therefore, it is no surprise that Deontay Wilder wants to see the same enthusiasm to make the fight if he wins. However, based on his comments, he is already pessimistic about it happening.
