The Wembley arena is eagerly waiting to witness one of the biggest British blockbusters on Saturday night, 23rd April 2022. The greatest technician of the heavyweight division, Tyson Fury, will clash with WBC mandatory challenger, Dillian Whyte.

A countdown has begun. The verbal beef between the duo is heating. Since WBC interim heavyweight champion missed the main media event, prior to the upcoming mega rumble, his absence made several headlines. However, recently in an interview with Carl Frampton from the dressing room of epic Wembley stadium, ‘The Gypsy King’ recalled his sparring sessions with the 33-year-old challenger.

While discussing the legacy and retirement, the greatest heavyweight of this generation said, “I’ve sparred Dylan White many many times and every single time I used him as a punching bag.”

Further, turning down all claims made by ‘The Body Snatcher’ he added, “There were times when he couldn’t defend himself and there was a time where he had to be stopped the sparring and Yui had to spar him because I knew he instead was about 18 at the time he used to batter him so all these stories of him knocking me down 25 times inspiring would be highly unlikely anyone believes all that rubbish.”

Notably, ‘The Gypsy King’ through interviews and media events is alone enough to create a pretty intense hype for the highly expected showdown of the year 2022. However, his long-time rival is not keen on promoting what is probably the biggest fight of his life.

What is the dispute between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte over the sparring session?

Dillian Whyte has waited for a couple of years to take a shot against arch-rival Tyson Fury. However, ahead of the competitive matchup, the duo revealed they had traded the leather earlier in 2012, when ‘The Body Snatcher’ became part of the champion’s training camp for the fight against Martin Rogan.
