Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion, terrorized the whole division for a brief span where he brutally knocked his rivals out and earned the tag of ‘Baddest Man on Planet Earth’.

During his prime, Tyson was one of the most dominant pugilists and became a global superstar with his boxing achievements. However, it was never about beating his opponents or winning, but it was about surpassing himself.

Following a troubled time as a teenager, Tyson entered the squared circle under the training of Cus D’Amato. His life changed after that, and Tyson saw all the glory of the sport. However, he had his dream, which he tagged to be ‘delusional’ but later changed them into reality.

That’s what Mike Tyson said in his latest interaction with Logan Paul in the Impaulsive podcast.

‘Iron’ Mike said, “It was about beating myself, to be able to compensate for the goals that I want. I made my own goals, I made all my goals delusional, and I turned my delusions into reality.”

Mike Tyson has had several accolades under his name. He was the unbeaten heavyweight champion for a long span until James Douglas knocked him out in 1990.

However, Tyson’s title win at the age of 20 makes him the youngest boxer ever to grab the heavyweight title. Besides this, he has claimed multiple records that have seen him put together one of the best resumes in all of boxing.

Mike Tyson – The unique life
