Sylvester Stallone believes that his mother had a big influence on his life. Unfortunately, she is no more in this world, she passed away in 2020 at the age of 98 but he still remembers her fondly. There were certain things about her that Stallone found very intriguing. She was not a normal lady who adhered herself to the conservative society. She was pretty cool. This is the reason he dubbed her an alien.
In an interview with Canada’s Brian Linehan in 1977, the young Rocky star made a stunning revelation about her. According to the two-time Academy Award nominee, his mother was far ahead of her time. Born in 1921 in Washington DC, Jackie Stallone, like her son, was into entertainment. However, she could not get the success she had imagined, so she went on to explore new things.
Fortunately, she found one. Her curiosity drew her into exercise and weight lighting and she became the first lady to start a daily TV show and a gym for women’s fitness. It was she who introduced Stallone to the gymnasium in the early days of his life.
