The last year’s winner of the knockout of the year, Caleb Plant is well-known for his fashion sense besides his unbreakable defense. Last October, he landed a memorable KO punch against Anthony Dirrell, but in that fight, his boxing boots got a lot of attention from the sneakerheads. Plant has spoken about how he loves trying new attires, he made it clear that he never tries to impress anybody, but it so happens that most people like his style. Well, he’s too deep into fashion, so much so that he has his own clothing line, Revenge Tour.

Interestingly, he even stole the domain name of David Benavidez, as a way to get into his skin. During that time, he connected Davidbenavidez.com with his website and asked his fan to check out the latest collection on this domain. This marketing worked, and they sold a lot of pre-sale for an entire week.

He recently spoke about his clothes sales numbers hitting up, in the recent episode of George Janko‘s podcast. Despite all the doubts and trepidation, Plant breached through everything and made his fashion business work.

Caleb Plant shares how he never let fear be a stopping factor

George Janko asked Plant about his favorite stand-up comedian, and Plant instantly took Dave Chappelle‘s name. He stated that he has immense respect for Dave and admires the fact that he doesn’t self-criticize himself much.

Janko asked Plant whether he’s done anything like that with himself. Plant replied, “Yeah certain things but with the things that I really like, and can see myself doing, I’m gonna push forward with that.” That’s when he shared that before boxing, Plant used to sell clothes directly from his house. The sales and the quality of the clothes weren’t really good at that time, but that never stopped him.

But now after the David Benavidez fight, he revealed he has “sold 702 units of clothing whether it be, almost 300 T’s, and 100 hats, and shorts and hoodies“. Furthermore, Plant added that he never let himself get demoralized, and always kept himself going.

He said, “I never try to put a ceiling on what I could do one day but you don’t think about when you first start. You just set goals along the way and all of a sudden you look up, and all of a sudden you’re selling 702 units, that’s not bad.
