“I Just Wish I Would Have Gotten a Call, Text, Something”: Logan Paul Felt Abandoned by Former Friend Dwayne Johnson During His Darkest Times

Logan Paul has accomplished something that only a few individuals can. However, the American internet sensation has seen his own ups and downs. Paul once shared a video from Japan’s “su*cide forest” (Aokigahara), where he even captured a corpse in his video. This caused a significant uproar, and Paul received harsh criticism at the time.

Furthermore, while talking to True Geordie in a podcast, Logan Paul mentioned how his relationship with Hollywood superstar Dwayne Johnson got hampered. He stated, “I got a call from my publicist, who also, repped Dwayne The Rock Johnson. And she’s like hey, Dwayne has asked that you remove every picture and video that you’ve done with him. And maybe in the future, you know, the relationship can be reconciled, but for now, he basically wants nothing to do with you, which I also understood. I get it. You know I made a grotesque error, and he has had things happen in his life where like a lot of people that incident affected him.”

“So I understood it and that was the other part. I was like fu**. I sleep in the bed you make, right? But I wish I would have gotten like a call or a text or something. Because like I thought, we had a, like a healthy relationship, an open line of communication. And I was so sad that my hero wanted nothing to do with me.”        

Although Paul feels bad about being left high and dry by The Rock, he also needs to understand that his actions have consequences, and it could have been a huge PR nightmare for The Rock had he supported Paul in such a situation.

Popular entrepreneur, author, and speaker Gary Vaynerchuk, famously known as Gary Vee, once appeared on Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast. As the conversation progressed, the guest mentioned how the Youtuber is doing different things. 

Moreover, Gary Vee was talking about Paul’s WrestleMania performance and said, “There’s something about that split shot. I was like, dude, he’s really got it. I was telling them that you’re gonna, I think that platform for you is a worthwhile debate because I was like, look, that platform, he could be like a mix between The Rock and Will Ferrell after this. He could do this for two, three, four years, and I bet you he can go and fu**ing win academy awards and do movies.”

Well, Gary Vee feels that The Maverick can become a movie star like The Rock and can also win academy awards in the future. That might be a long shot, but Logan Paul certainly has the temerity to try different things and take massive risk. Sometimes they pay off, like with wrestling, and sometimes they don’t, like with his ‘boxing’ career where he has 0 wins.
