When it comes to discussing his future in the boxing business, Tyson Fury has always been fickle-minded. Fury has often mentioned that he looks forward to his retirement.

With 2 fights remaining on his contract, the 31-year-old boxer has often talked about happily riding off into the sunset. However, it seems like Fury has no plans of calling it quits any time soon.

“I’ll come back, and I’ll have two more fights, and hopefully we’ll sail into the sunset,” Fury told ITV

This proclamation comes barely two months after Fury claimed he was ready to hang up his gloves for good. However, a change of heart like this is something that we have much too often in the combat sports circuit.

“I’m going to fight on ‘til I’m 40 years old. I’ve been thinking about it, and there isn’t much else to do anyways. So yeah, I may as well keep fighting,” claimed Tyson Fury while talking to ESPN.

Fury feels he is at the top of his game after recently bulldozing through Deontay Wilder. Therefore, he seems rather confident about taking on any and every challenger who threatens to dethrone The Gypsy King.

“I don’t see anyone out there that can challenge me anyway. I just flattened the best one out there, the toughest opponent out there is Deontay Wilder. And we all saw what happened to him the last time out,” said Tyson Fury looking to take on fresh challenges.

The 30-year-old undefeated heavyweight champion is looking to take on Deontay Wilder for the third time. Considering how The Bronze Bomber exercised his right to a third fight almost immediately after his crushing defeat.

Tyson Fury to Engage in a Unification Bout

The news of Fury’s change of heart is most likely to leave fellow heavyweight, Anthony Joshua, much too elated. Fury retiring before a unification fight against Joshua was the biggest concern for the Watford man.

As things stand today, talks are underway for organizing a historic bout for the undisputed heavyweight championship of the world between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua.
