Influencer-turned-boxer, KSI is popular for a lot of his accomplishments in the area of sports and content creation, but he peaked when he fought against his rival, Logan Paul. The only professional bout he’s fought to date saw him go home victorious in a split decision. This is however not a very recent fight. It dates back to 2019. For a long time now he has been chasing a matchup against the other Paul brother, but, according to him, all he’s received is excuses under the garb of flak.

Come October 14th, he will get his second pro-bout against Tommy Fury. Expressing his frustration over not getting his due credits for his victories inside the ring, he also sent out a vicious warning to his next opponent.

In an interaction with Ariel Helwani  at his show The MMA Hour, he spoke vividly about the times that he has been denied the credits he deserve for excelling in the ring. He went on to the extent of saying that he has to defeat Tommy Fury to prove to the world that he is in fact better than Jake Paul. Earlier this year, Paul was defeated by Tommy Fury, handing the former his first loss in his professional career.

He further stated that even if he does win the bout against Tommy, he still will not be acknowledged for his boxing skills.

He said, “You know how many people were saying I don’t wanna fight Tommy Fury? They’re saying, you know I’m too scared to fight Tommy Fury. I am not good enough to fight Tommy Fury. I will say that the fight is done now. I’m fighting Tommy Fury, now what? Ahh he’s gonna lose anyway, does not matter. You know, zero chance. I’m putting my money on Tommy Fury. I go in and knock him out. Ahh now, it’s not a real fight anyway.”

He further in a shocking revelation said that there is an 80% chance of this fight being his last. KSI attributed it to the fact that it took so long for him to land a fight against Tommy since his last fight.

KSI finds fault in Jake Paul’s recent boxing performance

Do KSI and Jake Paul see eye to eye? Of course, not! The rivals are yet to get their boxing bout against each other. The clash is one of the most anticipated ones. However, as KSI prepares for his second boxing fight with Tommy Fury, he had an opinion on Jake’s recent performance. And of course, it was very critical.

Jake Paul defeated ex-UFC fighter Nate Diaz this weekend. It is noteworthy that it was Nate’s first boxing match after he wrapped up his career with UFC. Jake won the bout. However, there was ample criticism that he had not improved  on his boxing skills since his last matchup. Getting on the bandwagon was KSI.

“I don’t think he did very well against an opponent who hardly jabbed. Watching the fight, I was like, ‘Nate isn’t jabbing at all. He’s not setting anything up.’ Jake wasn’t setting anything up. He was just surviving the 10 rounds. Low output, low I.Q.,” said KSI while speaking to Ariel Helwani.
