“I Forget 50 Was Golden Glove”: Fans Go Berserk as ‘Hoodfather’ 50 Cent Shares Forgotten Floyd Mayweather Clip

The beef between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather has been going on for a long time now. Reportedly, Mayweather owed some money to 50 after he came out of jail in 2012. But the feud started with an interview with Mayweather back in 2014 where he did not talk about 50 Cent in a very optimistic manner. So 50 Cent clapped back with a video where he challenged the champion to read a paragraph from a ‘Harry Potter’ book. And the famous rapper did not stop there, he continued to troll Mayweather further, by lowering the level of the challenge. As he changed the book from ‘Harry Potter’ to ‘Cat in the Hat’.

There was a time in early 2000 when the two were great friends. But this Friday, 50 Cent made a tweet where he shared an old video of Floyd Mayweather Jr working on a speed bag. The internet got confused with the tweet. As nobody knows whether the bickering between the two has come to an end. The tweet did not show any signs of malice whatsoever. Besides the video, he just wrote, “Champ crazy, but nobody had a longer run he winning”. And also added a plugin for his merch brand of G Unit.

Fans go wild over the old video of Mayweather & 50 Cent on the speed bag

The fans were shocked to see the skills of 50 Cent on the speed bag. So in the video, 50 Cent is seen working on the speed bag, then Floyd Mayweather follows him up. And obviously, Mayweather’a hands hit the bag faster than the former, but still the punches 50 Cent threw on the bag impressed a lot of fans. But ever since their beef, they never leave any chance to troll each other on social media. Like just on the last new year’s eve, Floyd Mayweather stole 50 Cent’s look and posted it on Instagram.

One of the fans put their money on the strength of 50 Cent over Floyd Mayweather. They said the rapper is the toughest out of the two.

50 Cent has a born talent in the sport of boxing. He started boxing at the age of 11, and when he was 14 years old, his neighbor opened a local gym. 50 Cent went there to practice his skills. And there are many instances where 50 Cent’s skills in boxing have come forth in the public eye. So one of the fans gave a reference to that in their comment.

Another fan said that hands are an intrinsic part of the human body. But we, as humans, devised to use it in quite different ways.

One comment was about praising the punches of 50 Cent on the speed bag.

One of the fans even went ahead and stated that if 50 Cent really took boxing seriously, he could most likely have better stats than Floyd Mayweather Jr himself.

So there is no confirmation if both of the personalities are on the good terms or not. But the rapper’s recent post has definitely worked like a ray of hope for the fans of good rap and great boxing.
