After the loss, JJ took to Twitter to write a heartfelt message to his fans. In the message, he first thanked his fans for “all the kind messages from everyone.” Moreover, he added, “In the ring and watching it back I feel like I should have won.” However, despite the disappointing result, JJ is happy and believes that he has accomplished what he wanted to do.

Furthermore, he posted a motivating remark, “This little untalented nerd was able go toe to toe with a professional boxer. Use me as the living proof that hard work and self-belief can get you anywhere in this life.” He hopes that his fans will get inspired by him and that they too will follow their dreams.

The controversial scorecard raises questions

The scorecard for the fight also raised a lot of questions if the correct result was announced yesterday or not. As the six-round match-up ended, the judges declared the fight a win for Fury via a majority decision. The scoring went 57-57 and 56-57 in favor of Fury. However, in a surprising turn of events, when the scorecard for the fight was revealed on Instagram, it soon started another wave of controversy.

It turns out that the judge Rafael Ramos’s round-by-round tally shows that even though he scored the fight 57-57, he had only awarded 56 points to KSI and 57 to Fury. This means that instead of the majority decision, the fight should have been declared a victory via unanimous decision.
