Boxing legend Mike Tyson has recently shared his concerns about the development of technology that could make humans obsolete in the future. AI has become increasingly important in many industries as it can automate tasks and make predictions more accurately than humans.

However, as AI technology continues to advance, there are concerns about its impact on society. One major concern is job displacement, as AI can automate many tasks that were previously performed by humans. Moreover, Tyson’s recent Hotboxin guest, Ne-Yo made a shocking revelation about how people can make songs using a computer-generated version of his voice. This was not all as ‘Iron Mike’ made a brutally honest revelation to the singer about the future of the music industry.

In the episode, the singer claimed that people could now write songs exactly like him with computer-generated algorithms. Moreover, they could even use his voice to sing those songs which would hinder the need for the singer altogether.

The next step, the crazy sh*t is, okay, so after you get your song written in Ne-Yo form, you can then go to another app and get Ne-Yo’s voice to sing the song,” he said. Tyson would then give his honest take on the impact of this on the singer. “They won’t need Ne-Yo anymore,” said Tyson.

While the singer was impressed with the program’s ability to create songs, he also expressed his concerns. According to him, the danger lies in the fact that humans are building machines that can surpass their own intelligence.

I don’t understand why we’re so hell-bent on building some sh*t that’s gonna make us obsolete. That don’t make no sense. A rat would never create a rat trap. Why the hell are we gonna create some shit that can realize it’s smarter than you? Why?” he added.

The concerns from the singer are not unfounded, as many experts have warned about the potential dangers of artificial intelligence. Although, the idea of machines taking over the world may seem like science fiction. However,  the reality is that it is not impossible. While the development of artificial intelligence has the potential to revolutionize the music industry, it is important to proceed with caution when it comes to the handling of these technologies. As Ne-Yo rightly pointed out, it is crucial to ensure that we do not create something that could one day become our undoing.
