“I Don’t See Him Becoming World [Champion]”: Viddal Riley’s New Association With Anthony Joshua Fails to Impress Fans

British fighter and YouTube sensation, Viddal Riley has taken yet another step in establishing himself as a boxer inching toward global fame. In pursuit of having the best endorsements and deals in his portfolio, the fighter has signed with a management company that holds the names of multiple a-listers on their marquee. Names like Shannon Ryan, Benn Whittaker, and Derek Chisora have all been part of this agency for a long time.

258 MGT is a management company owned and run by the heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua. The company found notoriety in bringing the most groundbreaking and massive opportunities for its client athletes. With a knack for pushing their career and persona beyond just sport, 258 MGT is an ideal stop for Viddal Riley. However, fans do not seem to be on this page.

New to the 258 MGT Team, Vidal Riley joins AJ

AJ’s management company welcomed the influencer-turned-boxer with a proud announcement. The company referred to him as, “One of British boxing’s brightest up and coming stars.” However, with his new association with AJ’s company ahead of his next fight with Nathan Quarless, fans did not seem to be too excited with the developments. While some expressed their adoration for the fighter, others simply were not impressed by him. The fighter has not been able to claim the confidence of the boxing realm. One fan went ahead to estimate that Riley might never see the face of victory when he undertakes a title fight.

One fan took digs at those who claimed that Riley remained unpopular. To a certain extent, the unbeaten boxer remains less known when compared to his counterparts like Jake Paul and KSI. 

Another user, however, still remained unsure of his boxing prowess. The user predicted that when Riley does clash with Tommy Fury, the latter would defeat him and leave no crumbs.

Another user wondered if the fighter could defeat Fury in just 3 rounds. A challenge or an expectation? Perhaps a little of both.

But his unbeaten record of nine fights, through seven knockouts cannot be a sheer case of fluke. The fighter does have the potential to excel further in his boxing career. Furthering this argument, a fan even claimed that his boxing acumen stands better than the likes of the Paul brothers and KSI, and yet he remains under-appreciated.

He will be fighting for the vacant BBBofC English cruiser title against Nathan Quarless for 10 rounds in London. His first attempt at a title!
