In an interview with Fight Hype TV, Broner was asked about what he thought about the current situation between the two former friends. Broner then stated that while he has not talked about the split with Davis recently, he did address this with him previously. He also went on to wish ‘Tank’ good luck in his future universe as an independent fighter.
“I haven’t talked to him but we talked about it before we talked about it a few times. Now that he is doing his own thing, hope the best for him. I hope he is the biggest in the world. I don’t care, I just want him to do good.” said Broner

In the interview, Broner was also asked who ‘Tank’ would have the hardest time facing. The former champ then claimed that WBO super featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson would provide the toughest challenge for Davis.
“In my opinion, Shakur will be the most difficult fight for Tank but Tank got what it takes to figure out any fighter. He got what it takes to adjust to any fighter and in the end, that’s what he got to do to get the victory” said Broner
