YouTuber turned boxing sensation, Jake Paul, has undoubtedly set the world of boxing on fire. But, the resurfacing skeletons of his past show no sign of stopping anytime soon. Paul has had a longstanding beef with the crown prince of boxing, Floyd Mayweather Jr. And the latest addition to the same happened when Mayweather “jumped” Paul with members of The Money Team. While fellow YouTuber turned boxer KSI was seen trolling Paul for the incident, his friend seems to have a different opinion altogether.

KSI’s friend Ashley Tebi Rak-Su was a guest at the What’s Good Podcast hosted by Simon Minter AKA Miniminter and Randolph. Notably, Rak-Su is a music producer and also a boxer in Misfits boxing.

Ashley Rak-Su shows support to Jake Paul

In conversation, Rak-Su was asked about the recent incident where Paul was jumped by Mayweather’s crew. Rak-Su wasted no time in responding, by saying, “I do feel bad for Jake Paul, innit.” The hosts further tried to take a dig by stressing the fact that Paul ran from his attackers. But, they were also mindful of the sheer number of people who jumped Paul.

This was when Rak-Su reminisced about incidents from his childhood. And, in turn, also gave a lesson on fleeing. He said, “So when I was younger. And I was a little bit, of a little sh*t. I used to get myself in situations that weren’t good. One of the lessons that I have learned, is you walk toward a corner. Turn the corner. And, then run. So no one sees you running away.”

It should be mentioned that KSI was not this kind while reacting to the incident. While talking about it, he even went on to quote the iconic line ‘She’s a runner, she’s a track star’, from the song, Track Star by Mooski.

The ‘Gotcha Hat’ fiasco that started it all

Mayweather faced Jake Paul’s brother, Logan Paul, in 2021. The duo also had a press conference ahead of the same at the Hard Rock Stadium. What followed was one of the most viral moments in boxing drama. The younger Paul caused a commotion by snatching Mayweather’s hat while uttering the iconic “gotcha hat” phrase.
