The talks of a potential bout between KSI and Tommy Fury have been going on for a while now. However, things aren’t looking so good. The fight looked like it was a done deal with Fury coming off with a fresh win against Jake Paul and KSI against Joe Fournier. Fury had shown ample interest in the bout and even made claims about getting rid of ‘YouTube Boxing’ in 12 months.

However, recently, the progress has been halted as Fury has apparently demanded the bout to take place at 185 lbs. instead of the initial 180 lbs. Since then, he has come under fire from KSI who seems to be frustrated by this demand. Moreover, recently Jake Paul has shared his desire for the rematch at 185 lbs. This has only added to ‘JJ’s’ troubles. Furthermore, KSI has even issued an ultimatum to Fury which is going to end today!

KSI recently uploaded a video on his YouTube channel, with the title, “I’m sick of this!” KSI has been complaining about Fury raising the weight limit even though he initially agreed to it. In the video, he addressed Fury and said, “Tommy, I think you need to realize who the f*** you’re talking to.” He told the British boxer that he doesn’t fight because he needs to fight. Rather it’s because he chooses to fight. He called the cruiserweight boxer a “delusional piece of sh!t.” ‘JJ’ further stated, “You’re disrespecting me and that’s p**sing me off.” He warned Fury to “Sign the contract as it is”, otherwise, he plans on “fighting someone else”.

The co-owner of PRIME Hydration further stated that he is “Tired of this back and forth” with Fury’s “Stupid-a** team”. He claimed that Fury will not be “getting that type of money anywhere else, not even Saudi Arabia.” Moreover, he went ahead and gave the Love Island star a deadline of, “Monday, July 3, 6 pm. to sign the contract.” ‘JJ’ intends to move on and fight someone else if Fury doesn’t sign the contract till then. He reminded Fury, “Remember, you need me, I definitely do not need you.” It remains to be seen what becomes of the bout, fans are definitely interested in the bout.

Jake Paul steps in, KSI buckles down

However, using the opportunity, Jake Paul stepped in and shared his desire to have a rematch with Fury after his bout against UFC veteran Nate Diaz on August 5. Paul has stated that he desires for the rematch to take place in October. Furthermore, he even agreed to fight at 185 pounds. This gave Fury much more confidence as he posted a video, telling KSI to “take it or leave it”. He stated that the fight will take place at 185 lbs. He stated, “I know you’re a midget, and you’re worrying about the weight but get some more food down you, and you’ll get there.”

Furthermore, he stated that he knows “somebody who will fight in October, somebody who is ready to fight and will get to 185.” Much recently, ‘JJ’ took to Twitter to agree to Fury’s terms. He stated that he wants to knock out Fury “so badly that I’ll come up in weight and do 185 lbs”. However, there is a catch here.
