Jake Paul destroys his sparring partner in a training session
The YouTuber Paul fought with was Faze Dee, an emerging star on the platform. However, the difference in their levels was soon visible after Paul knocked out Dee with a barrage of shots. He landed a right hand followed by two quick body shots that sent Dee to the canvas. This was not all as Dee even described what it was like training with Paul.
After the session, a visibly exhausted Dee stated that the Ohio-based boxer hit him with body shots, which made breathing very difficult. Moreover, he claimed that Paul was a legit boxer despite many criticisms against him for his skill level.
“He hit me with a couple of body shots. I couldn’t breathe. I rethought about it when I stepped in the ring with him. He’s a real boxer, he’s the sh*t, and he’s not even trying.” said Dee

When it comes to the influencer community, it could be argued that Paul is the cream of the crop. However, compared to professional boxers competing at high levels, he still lacks the skill and IQ which in time might change.
Paul gets handed a WBA championship despite not facing a ranked opponent
The WBA has decided to award Paul with a title, despite the 6-0 boxer not facing a ranked opponent. Paul was handed the belt during a WBA convention in Miami. However, even ‘The Problem Child’ felt uneasy about accepting the belt, which he thought he didn’t deserve.
“I”m honored. For real, this means a lot. I feel like I haven’t earned this yet, though, I feel like I have to actually fight for this. I don’t know, I don’t know. Thank you. I feel like you guys should hold this until I’m actually fighting for a WBA Championship. I don’t know.” he said.
Now that Paul is almost set and done facing former MMA fighter, fans might expect a professional boxer as his next opponent. Moreover, given that he needs to still prove his skills against elite competition, this is a necessity for the WBA honorary champion.
