Female boxing has a new prospect. British professional boxer, Caroline Dubois is 6-0 with 5 knockouts and has an 83% knockout ratio. Although, what separates her from the rest is not just her impeccable skills inside the ring but also the confidence she possesses outside of it. She is young, ambitious and most certainly promising.

She is set to face Yanina Lescano at York Hall on 16th June. Ahead of her fight, she expressed her interest to get a stoppage and put on a show for the fans. Not to mention, she is confident in her abilities to do the same and made a few bold remarks ahead of the fight.

Caroline Dubois aims for a stoppage of her fights

The world of female boxing is garnering attention and interest by the time. Boxers like Amanda Serrano have been an inspiration for many other female boxers including Dubois. Serrano is known for her fierceness and aggressiveness in the ring. Out of 44 victories, 30 have been via stoppages giving her a 63% knockout ratio. Dubois looks up to Serrano for her accomplishments and endeavor to be a fighter like her.

Reflecting on the same, in an interview, she stated, “I wanna be someone like Amanda Serrano, one of that kind of fighters that brings stoppages as well as good performances.” She further elaborates, “You know I want to excite people that is the most important. It is very important for me to put on a performance every time and get a stoppage.”

Safe to say, Dubois will be an aggressive fighter in the ring in order to get those stoppages. Not to mention, she is aware of the same and also stated, “In the ring I can be myself. I can be as aggressive, as mean, as nasty as I want. I can express myself.”
