In a recent interview with Fight Hub TV, Gervonta Davis, a professional boxer with a record of 25-0, made a bold statement regarding his status in the sport of boxing. According to Davis, he believes he is already the face of boxing. When asked about his thoughts on Canelo Alvarez, one of the top boxers in the world, Davis responded that he respects Alvarez as a great fighter, but he believes he is the face of boxing.

“Canelo is one of the top dogs in this sport as of right now. He is a great fighter himself, so just having somebody like him to say I’m his favorite fighter, it’s pretty like touchy,” said Davis. “I think I am the face of boxing already if we’re being real, I think I am the face of boxing right now.”

Davis further praised Alvarez for being a great fighter and acknowledged that he is one of the top dogs in the sport. However, he was quick to dismiss Alvarez as a contender for the face of boxing, arguing that his own record and accomplishments are superior.
