Undefeated pugilist Shakur Stevenson has clearly made a name for himself, as he continues to grow as a professional. However, several people often compare him with the great Floyd Mayweather, which thrills the 23-year-old boxer.
Already a former featherweight champion, Stevenson has aimed at the 140 lbs belts in his next fight. Ahead of the fight, he opened up about the comparisons with Mayweather, revealing his similarities with the five-division world champion.
“I seen something, Floyd say that ‘I am not the fastest, I am not the strongest, but I am the smartest’. And that’s kinda fit me too. I am one of the smartest boxers in boxing. I like the comparison to Floyd but at the end of the day, I’m my own fighter,” said Shakur Stevenson.
