To intensify the tale further, Garcia has often lashed out at his upcoming rival on social media. In one of his tweets, Garcia stated that ‘Cool Hand’ Campbell was actually happy with his defeat against Lomachenko.

Well, it didn’t sit well with Campbell as he has something to offer in response. The 32-year-old vows to punish the ‘Golden Boy’ when they lock horns inside the ring shortly.

Luke Campbell will not go easy on Ryan Garcia

Coming off a loss against Lomachenko, Campbell says that Garcia will have to pay the price of all his “s*** talking.” In a recent interaction with Seconds Out, ‘Cool Hand’ Campbell opened up on his upcoming fight and his training regime.

When asked about Ryan Garcia’s social media mockery, Campbell said, “He can say and do what he wants to, it’s not going to change the fact that when he gets in the ring with me you know, I am gonna punish him for all the s*** talk.”

Well, it is much easier said than done. Considering the fact that Garcia is still unbeaten in his professional career, Luke Campbell will need to showcase some unprecedented skills in the fight. That said, the sport of boxing is not new to major upsets.

If Campbell can actually dictate the flow of the fight, he can put a quell on Garcia’s undefeated streak.

The matchup between Garcia and Campbell will define the landscape of the lightweight division. While Campbell is a top-rated lightweight, Garcia will still rule the odds because of his streak.
