The Predator thinks that AJ  can be beaten. He contends that AJ has not been tested against a great puncher like him. He draws his belief from his performance against Tyson Fury. Reflecting on the same, in an interview with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour, Francis Ngannou stated, “Man the date is set. It is two months from now. I don’t think if he any of them think they are going to have easy money. Well, too bad for them. By the way, answering that question, if AJ takes the punch that Fury took, I don’t guarantee that he is going home. I have heard he does not have a chin. I am going to find out.”

When Helwani asked if Ngannou believed that the old AJ was back or if he was still the fighter who got badly beaten by Usyk, Ngannou replied without tearing into his rival. “I think he’s still the same fighter. That doesn’t mean he can’t lose. I mean, being the same fighter doesn’t mean you can’t lose,” declared the Cameroonian-French fighter, confident in his abilities to defeat AJ at his own game.

It is safe to say that Ngannou is set and ready to roll. The next two months are going to be crucial to determining the outcome of the fight. Neither fighter can afford to underestimate their opponent, and ‘The Predator’ is already training for it.

Ngannou is cutting no corners

Francis Ngannou is training and has already started sparring. With whom you ask? The Predator recently had a sparring session with the formidable heavyweight prospect Guido Vianello, who has an impressive record of 11 wins and one defeat. This is a testament to the fact that despite his confidence, he is leaving nothing up for chance. In his Instagram story, Ngannou stated, “We’re out here working. First-day sparring [Vianello] did not go easy on me.” An image of the two was also shared by Vianello.
