Hearing upon the same, the interviewer was in disbelief and demanded some clarification. He asked if the male boxers truly hit her during the spars to which she had a startling response. She stated, “They better because I am hitting, hitting. That’s the difference I want you to respect me when I’m the ring because I don’t hit soft. I am gonna hit you so I need to be the best I can be. I need you to put that pressure on me and I am gonna apply that pressure to.”

It is safe to say that if there is any cross-gender boxing contest, Baumgardner shall be one representing the females. Her new revelation only solidifies her image as a boxing prodigy.
