Soon after the Mikuru Asakura fight, Floyd Mayweather made arrangements to fight YouTuber Deji. While Mayweather is 45, Deji is 25. However, Deji lacks a formidable resume in boxing. With such little experience in the sport, the YouTuber will square off against one of the best boxers to live. The bout will take place on November 13. Ahead of this fight, former heavyweight champion Roy Jones Jr. spoke about Mayweather vs. Deji.

According to Jones, Mayweather is one of the best boxers of recent times. Jones Jr., who retired in 2018, said for Deji it will be a tough fight. As per Jones, for Deji it is not a matter of winning the fight but how long he can possibly survive. Jones Jr. said, “He’s [Floyd Mayweather] definitely the best of recent times. It’s gonna be a tough fight for the other guy.”

Mayweather, after he retired in 2017, fought Tenshin Nasukawa, Logan Paul, Don Moore, and Mikuru Asakura in exhibition fights. The Deji fight is yet to take place and Mayweather already has a plan for what he would do in 2023. According to sources, ‘TBE’ would return to UK and start off new year with yet another exhibition fight.

Concerning Deji against Mayweather on November 13, Roy Jones Jr. added by saying, “I mean, c ‘mon bro, you’re fighting Floyd Mayweather, how you gonna do it?” Here’s what he added next.

Floyd Mayweather is 50-0 in professional boxing. He has fought some of the best fighters of his time. With the sort of record and skill that Mayweather displays, Jones Jr. can’t help but ask, “I mean, how you gonna survive?”
