Almost a year after WBC and WBO super welterweight champion Sebastian Fundora defeated Australia’s Tim Tszyu in one of the bloodiest boxing matches ever, ‘The Towering Inferno’ is getting back in the ring. The 27-year-old will defend his titles against Stamford, Connecticut’s Chordale Booker at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas.
And for the fight, the pair is expected to make a pretty penny. While their paychecks might not be as impressive as Canelo Alvarez‘s or Terence Crawford’s, the boxers, on the PBC fight card set to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video free for pre-existing subscribers, are expected to walk away with a substantial amount. But the question is, how much?

How much will Sebastian Fundora earn against Chordale Booker?
Sebastian Fundora is set to earn a solid payday in his upcoming unification fight against Chordale Booker. ‘The Towering Inferno’ has a guaranteed fight purse of $500,000 for this bout. In addition to that, Fundora will receive 60% of the pay-per-view (PPV) revenue, giving him the potential to significantly boost his earnings.

If the event reaches 500,000 PPV buys, Fundora’s total payout is estimated at $1.8 million. Now, this isn’t his highest career payday—that honor goes to his blockbuster fight against Tim Tszyu in March 2024, where he pocketed $3 million. However, it remains a lucrative fight for him.
Previously, he earned $400,000 each in bouts against Brian Mendoza and Carlos Ocampo. With his dominant record, having only one loss to Mendoza, Fundora continues to solidify his place among boxing’s elite—both in the ring and at the bank. Now, what about the other guy in the ring?
What’s your perspective on:
Can Fundora's payday justify his dominance, or is Booker the real underdog story here?

Now, let’s look at the other side of the coin. Booker is set for the biggest payday of his career thus far. Booker’s guaranteed purse for this high-stakes matchup is $275,000. However, with a 40% share of the pay-per-view revenue, his earnings could rise significantly.
