What is Floyd Mayweather’s most expensive car?

In 2015, Floyd Mayweather Jr. purchased Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita. Made by the Swedish high-end car maker Koenigsegg Automotive AB, reportedly, the former boxing champion had to shell out nearly $5 million to own one of the only two models ever made. On his Instagram handle, he mentioned that it is the ‘only USA Spec TREVITA Built in the World.’ The word Trevita in Swedish means “Three Whites.”

The car’s specifications include an aluminum 4.8-liter dual-overhead cam V8 engine. It is powered by twin superchargers, which at 7000 rpm (rotations per minute), generate 1018hp and a torque of 797 pounds per foot. Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s Rolls Royce collection

Unfortunately, a consensus on the precise number of Rolls Royces that Mayweather Jr. owns seems absent here. In a few portals, it is mentioned that he had nearly about five models of the world’s most expensive car makers. However, in many others, such as bleacherreport.com and therichest.com, it’s mentioned to be between fourteen and sixteen. Given Mayweahter Jr. himself claimed to possess over a hundred cars; the number of reported Rolls Royce cars appears reasonable.

Anyhow, among the Royces, a few deserve special attention. There’s a Phantom Limousine worth $374,000, Phantom Limited Edition, for which he reportedly shelled out $450,000, Ghost Extended Wheelbase, which lightened his wallet by $358,000, and finally, a Wraith costing around $240,000.

It is interesting to note that in almost all instances, Mayweather Jr. paid for the cars in hard currency. Likewise, all the Roll Royces in his collection are VR7-Certified armored vehicles.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s Ferrari collection

Just like Rolls Royce, clarity on the exact number of Ferrari car models Floyd Mayweather Jr. owns remains ambiguous. However, according to an article published on therichest.com, he reportedly owned four Ferraris at one point in time, among those including Ferrari Enzo, worth $3.2 million. Unfortunately, only four hundred models were produced, making it one of the venerable Italian car makers’ rarest editions. However, the boxing legend reportedly sold it for $4.8 million at a later stage.

The next model in the line is the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Since its production ended in 2012, the car has entered the bucket list of die-hard car collectors. Having a top speed of 205 mph, it can accelerate from zero to sixty-two miles per hour in 3.2 seconds. Reportedly its market price stands in the neighborhood of $310,543.

But it was the Bugatti Veyron that stole the boxing champion’s heart. Launched in 2005, it was the world’s fastest car, and Floyd Mayweather Jr. liked it so much that he bought three! It reaches a top speed of 254 mph and became the fastest car in the roadster segment in 2013. Thanks to 1200 hp, it covers zero to sixty miles per hour in 2.6 seconds. The average price of a Grand Sport Vitesse in the US is $2 million.

Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s Lamborghini collection

It would be unbelievable to imagine that Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s car collection would be bereft of the good old Lambos. However, it remains unclear whether the former five-division champion still owns or has had a particular model(s) in the past and at what time. But according to an article published in “21motoring.com, he has three classic pieces of the Volkswagen-owned luxury car maker.
