Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is set to compete in his fifth exhibition bout since retiring professionally from boxing back in 2017. The former 5-division champ will face British YouTube sensation Deji on November 13th at the Coca-Cola arena in Dubai.

Moreover, despite this being an exhibition bout, many feel that Mayweather will dominate the match and come out on top. This has led many to wonder if this bout brings anything to the table for boxing fans and the sport in general. However, Deji will look to showcase his skills against one of the best to ever do it. Recently, a clip of ‘Money’ resurfaced on social media where he was spotted dancing ahead of the fight, which has put him under the spotlight.

The fans also united to call out Mayweather for this, as it showed how serious he was about the upcoming fight.

One fan wondered how broke Mayweather was that he need to resort to these shenanigan fights.

Another fan claimed that although he was addicted to money, he was more addicted to attention.

 

One fan stated that no fan actually cared about this fight and the event in general.

However, one fan showed her appreciation for the dance moves as she replied with a heart emoji to the video.

Lastly, one fan reacted by attaching a Gif, claiming that the video was ‘boring’.

Although, the promoters of the event are sure that this will be a successful one. However, judging by the criticism Mayweather is receiving before the fight, this might not work as well as the promoters expected it to. The fans seemed to have become tired of Mayweather’s constant exhibition bouts and feel like this one would also be the same as his four previous ones.

Moreover, this could also leave a lasting impact on Mayweather’s boxing legacy, as booking these fights with nothing on the line hinders all of his previous achievements. However, as the name suggests, ‘Money’ will always fight if he is paid enough to do so.
