Mike Tyson, on his podcast Hotboxin, made Terence Crawford cautious of Errol Spence Jr.‘s “only strategy to be successful” this Saturday. While ‘Bud’ Crawford declared himself to be the better fighter by far, Mike Tyson brought to light Spence Jr.’s “only technique” he believed would hold water in the ring. In this connection, it must be mentioned that as Tyson sat with Spence Jr. after his interaction with Crawford, ‘Kid Dynamite’ enlightened ‘The Truth’ with the same strategy he already revealed to ‘Bud’.
Anyway, in sharp contrast with Spence Jr. claiming that he never watched a whole Crawford fight, ‘Bud’ demonstrated a critical analysis of his advantages against Spence Jr. to Mike Tyson. To add to that, Tyson provided Spence Jr.’s only way to succeed the current WBO welterweight champion, Terence Crawford.

Mike Tyson lectures Terence Crawford on Errol Spence Jr.’s “best chance” at winning
As per Mike Tyson, only if Errol Spence Jr. brought the fight to Crawford would he have a chance to succeed. According to the former heavyweight champion, Spence Jr. must stay on Crawford “for at least six rounds“. To borrow the phrase from Tyson himself, Spence Jr. must “pitch the punches“ should he wish to make Crawford a fish out of water. “I was thinking Errol’s best chance [at winning] was if he stayed on him for at least six rounds. Just bring it to him,” Tyson announced. “That’s his only strategy to be successful. Come on, you [Crawford], just start pitching [punches],” Tyson stated.
Above all, Tyson was dead against Spence Jr., potentially occupying the center of the ring only to wait and take data. “Once they start to get to the center of the ring and start figuring people out and taking data, I think that’s when he’s going to make a mistake,” Tyson added. However, Crawford, on the other hand, has claimed to be a better fighter than Spence Jr. in all respects.

“A smarter fighter”, Crawford is ready to handle ‘The Truth’
On being asked about his advantages against Spence Jr., Crawford offered a bird’s-eye view of how he would likely handle ‘The Truth’. “I just think I’m all around a smarter fighter. My arms are a little longer than his, but he is a little taller that evens out. I think I counter better than him. My movement is better than him. I just think I’m a better fighter,” stated ‘Bud’ confidently.
