Despite, the champion not suffering any major injuries, this was a devastating experience for him. Moreover, his Instagram story might have given us more information as to why this could have been far worse than Spence’s vehicle being damaged.
Errol Spence Jr’s daughter was in the car hours before the accident
Spence posted an Instagram story of his six-year-old daughter in the back set of the car just hours before the accident. However, his daughter was not in the car during the crash. This just goes on to show how things could have turned out much worse for the unified champion. Following the accident, Spence took to Instagram live and tried to give an inside as to what had occurred.
This certainly was traumatizing for him but will be thankful that his children or any other loved one was not present with him during the crash. Although the identity of the other driver is unknown, it is reported that he is a 14-year-old who had taken his parents car out for a ride.
