According to a post on X, the CEO of Mayweather Promotions, Leonard Ellerbe, has stated that Curmel Moton would be fighting after the fight between Canelo Alvarez and Jermell Charlo. Furthermore, the boxing reporter, Jake Donovan, has revealed that the fight wouldn’t be televised on the live stream.

He also wrote, “Strange decision given all the hype surrounding his career, especially in an era where it’s commonplace for standout amateurs to be prominently featured in their pro debut.” Even the fans weren’t very happy about this decision.

One of the fans sounded hopeful, as they stated that there was a chance they would squeeze him in between the undercard fights before the main event. They also believed that it was “too bad” to make the Moton bout a walkout fight.

Another fan stated that he really wished to see this bout. As the boxer has been hyped by a lot of big names in the sport.

One fan pointed out that the management could do something, as there was a 50-minute gap between the undercard fights.
