De La Hoya has already called out Mayweather several times and has expressed interest in battling his former foe under complete professional guidelines. However, it may not be possible, as both men have retired a long time ago.

‘Golden Boy’ attended an interview with his partner Holly Sonders to address several things about his life. When asked about a potential return, Oscar De La Hoya sounded confused and didn’t confirm anything. Meanwhile, his partner made a bizarre request to Floyd Mayweather on the ground that De La Hoya and ‘TBE’ lock horns again.

Holly Sonders said, “But please don’t hit him Floyd, please don’t hit him.”

Well, it was actually Oscar De La Hoya who had charged up Mayweather back in their original fight. However, the current scenario doesn’t cite a similar outcome. De La Hoya has been out of action for over a decade and has been busy with his promotional activities. Also, as he is nearing 50, he may have gotten several steps slower.
