Powered by His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, Eddie Hearn‘s Matchroom has assembled a fantastic card for Terence Crawford‘s highly anticipated return on August 3 in Los Angeles. But, Oscar De La Hoya indirectly condemned Alalshikh’s involvement. As per the ‘Golden Boy,’ the Saudi Adviser is trying to come to the former’s territory and take over his sport. Therefore, the 51-year-old publicly declared “war” against Alalshiksh who allegedly “doesn’t know s**t about boxing“.

Undoubtedly, De La Hoya’s statements rattled the boxing world as the mentioned card promised six exciting fights boxing fans would love to see. On the undercard of Terence Crawford vs. Israil Madrimov, it promised performances by WBA Super-Lightweight champion Isaac Cruz, former WBO Super-Welterweight champion Tim Tszyu, former unified Heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz, WBA Super-Middleweight champion David Morrel, and Olympic gold medalist Andy Cruz.

But soon, while boxing fans wondered if De La Hoya had somehow disrespected His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, the CEO of Golden Boy Promotions swiftly reached out to the architect of Riyadh Season. Later, Alalshikh showcased the texts De La Hoya had sent the 42-year-old via Instagram.
