It seems His Excellency Turki Alalshikh just wants to keep the big fights coming! So, before we even witness the rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, we have been promised an inevitable collision between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury! In this context, Joshua brutally blasted Tyson Fury, meditating on the latter’s loss to Oleksandr Usyk.

Despite being the unified Heavyweight champion of the world, Oleksandr Usyk was considered the underdog in the fight against Tyson Fury. On the other hand, after Usyk had branded Fury as “Greedy belly,” ‘The Gypsy King,’ making fun of Usyk’s size, called the Ukrainian a “rabbit” and a “middleweight“. But, as fate would have it, despite the size difference, Usyk outperformed Fury and won the contest via split decision. Now revisiting Fury’s banter with Usyk, Anthony Joshua finds Tyson Fury unqualified to take boxing to newer heights.

“I’m glad Fury isn’t the undisputed champion. I’ve always said he’s an idiot, he’s very disrespectful. He has to step on people to make himself feel good,” said Anthony Joshua. But he did not stop there. Joshua handpicked words that stung like bees.

“The way he disrespected Usyk, ‘rabbit’ this and ‘middleweight’ that. It’s not good for the sport. If I respect you and you respect me, we can lift this sport up and make people think we are two of the most elite fighters in the world,” said the same man who doubted Usyk while still in the ring after the Ukrainian had beaten him twice in a row.

“But Fury will step on you and make you look like a guy who’s just walked out of a pub. Then he goes and gets spanked. He deserves it,” AJ added brutally. Meanwhile, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh while in a conversation with AJ face-timed Tyson Fury where AJ challenged the latter to a fight!

Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua likely to happen in 2025

With His Excellency Turki Alalshikh by his side, Anthony Joshua, ahead of his fight against Daniel Dubois on September 21 at Wembley Stadium, talked to Tyson Fury through a video call. Speaking directly to Tyson, with so much enthusiasm, His Excellency said, “Finish the job in 21 of December and look who waiting for you!” As he finished these words, Joshua leaned in and told ‘The Gypsy King,’ “I’m waiting for you.”

In his reply, ‘The Gypsy King’ assured that he would win the rematch against Oleksandr Usyk on the 21st to become the new Heavyweight champion of the world. “I’m gonna get the job done,” Tyson Fury promised. But, in his reply, Joshua sounded determined to match Fury. “Either way, I’m waiting for you,” AJ announced. At this, His Excellency stole the moment as he said, “In the first or second quarter of [20]25.”
