Teofimo Lopez is one of the promising young champions in an exciting lightweight division. The undefeated American reached the summit of the division in only his sixteenth professional fight. However, the next challenge will be to defend it, and ‘The Takeover’ faces a stern test against George Kambosos Jr.
Lopez will face the Australian lightweight challenger as mandatory for his WBO belt. The two will face off on June 3 and will have Evander Holyfield on the undercard. However, the Australian challenger has questioned Lopez’s toughness.

The 18-0 boxer spoke to Pro Boxing Fans on YouTube and said Lopez has a bad chin. “You can see it. The kid’s got chin problems. He’s got stamina problems, He’s overweight, he looks slow, he looks sloppy,” said Kambosos Jr.

This comment from Kambosos Jr. showed that he does not rate the American’s ability highly. Despite Lopez going 12 rounds with Vasyl Lomachenko, Kambosos Jr. feels ‘The Takeover’ has cardio problems.
Moreover, the Australian even questioned Lopez’s entire preparation by calling him overweight, slow, and sloppy.
These accusations will not go down well with the outspoken champion. Moreover, comments like this could add to the excitement of the fight.
