As we inch closer to the much-awaited match between Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford, people have started wondering about the magnitude of the clash. Both considered to be in the prime of their combat careers, will go head-to-head against each other. This will yield a fight that could be anyone’s. Seemingly, a very hung one, that could result in calls for a rematch. Both Spence and Crawford are looking at defeating each other through a knockdown that stems from an accumulation of intense blows.

The winner will most definitely take home the title of Pound-for-pound number one along with the belts up for grabs in the fight. However, it seems like both the Welterweight fighters have begun mapping out their plans post their big clash. They have expressed their desire on going against a fighter who happens to be on both their lists.

Earlier, Jaron Ennis expressed his worries about the Spence vs Crawford fight. Talking about the rematch clause in their deals, Ennis hoped that the fight would be a one-sided one. He remains keen to battle either of the two to claim their titles. Philadelphia’s Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs, 1 NC) would probably not get his fight if either Spence or Crawford call for a rematch within 30 days of their bout. This would also mean that he would need to decide on another titled fighter for his third match this year.

Recently, both Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. responded to the calls of them to enter the ring against Ennis. ‘The Truth’ Spence Jr. said he would fight anybody, so he is ready to take on Ennis. On the other hand, when the same question was asked to ‘Bud’ Crawford, he was all praises for Jaron Ennis. He said, “I have been supporting him since he was in his amateurs. I mean he was fighting Gary Russels.” He also elaborately spoke about the nice person that Ennis is.

Further, on the popular opinion that Ennis reminds people of a younger version of himself, Crawford said, “Seeing him, I kinda see myself in him. Yeah. Let’s see. He deserves a title shot.” But speaking about the possibilities of his clash with Ennis, ‘Bud’ said that the latter’s time would indeed come.

Spence Jr. vs Crawford is seemingly a PPV event

With only days left for the big showdown between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr., prices for the Pay-per-view event have been announced. The folks who wish to watch the fight on their TV sets or other devices will have to shell out some big bucks. It is set to go out on Showtime for telecast and demands a solid $84.99 in the US. However, boxing enthusiasts in the UK will have to cough up a smaller sum of £19.95 on TNT.

The big clash is as close as it can get to being a proper PPV event. Given the prowess both fighters have shown in the past, and a guaranteed nail-biting showdown, it might as well be worth the buck. The bout is also set to hit record breaking numbers but it is too early to predict if it will generate close to 1 million PPV buys in America.

Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. will enter the ring against each other on the 29th of July. The much-anticipated bout is set to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. This fight is for the books. Who do you think will excel and take home the win? Let us know in the comments section below.
