Andrew Tate and Jake Paul: Ring-a-Ring-a-Roses

Both the modern-day gladiators were in Dubai to see Floyd Mayweather’s exhibition match against Deji Olatunji.

Andrew Tate, before his internet blitz, was active as a kickboxer. Fighting in the Cruiserweight division, in 2009, he won the International Sports Kickboxing championship in Great Britain. However, it must be brought to the fore that his subsequent internet journey was not so illustrious. Tate is well-known for posting bizarre things and making outrageous claims on social media and in public.

Jake Paul’s journey, on the other hand, is noticeably more public. At the peak of his popularity, in 2018, he and his elder brother Logan took on British YouTubers Olatunji brothers. While Logan lost, Jake defeated Deji through a technical knockout.

Since then, junior Paul’s boxing journey has been climbing the ladder of success. Insinuations of cherry-picking his opponents do hang around. His boxing record stands at a neat six wins against nil losses. Four of his wins were knockouts.

Regarding allegations and counter-allegations, his life outside the ring mimics Tate’s.

If they battle it out, the question of the winner is an oddsmaker’s delight. Pundits favor the American since he has improved dramatically to all intents and purposes. Despite his kickboxing past, Andrew has never been tested inside a boxing ring.

In August, when Jake’s manager Nakisa Bidarian met Andrew Tate, the rumors of an upcoming bout gained strength. But it remained a pipe dream despite Jake Paul‘s eagerness in the project.
