Hellbent on Saving Kids From S*x Trafficking, Ryan Garcia Gets Emotional While Receiving ‘Spirit of Fighting’ Award

American boxer Ryan Garcia was recently seen in the United Kingdom attending an award ceremony. Interestingly, Garcia was present at the House of Parliament, where he was honored with the ‘Spirit of Fighting Award’ in front of “around 30 world leaders and some of the most wealthiest people in the world.”  

Several times in the past, especially in the lead-up to his fight with Devin Haney, the boxer has raised the issue of s** trafficking of children and tried to spread awareness about it. As he received the award, he took the opportunity to talk further about this issue and promised to collectively work towards fighting it. ‘KingRy’ received the award for his influential work in boxing and more at the Guildhall in England. While presenting his acceptance speech, Garcia took the opportunity to address people about the horrors of s** trafficking. He stated, “I want to save all the children in the world because I’ve seen a lot of kids, going through a lot of pain throughout the world, s** trafficking, among other things, so that’s where my heart is at. I’d rather not be a boxer to be honest.”

In the Instagram post, he wrote, “Today I spoke to around 30 world leaders and some of the most wealthiest people in the world, also received the “spririt of fighting” AWARD. For my influence and fighting efforts. Was truly an honor to speak at GUILDHALL. Told everyone I love Jesus. And to SAVE CHILDREN ACROSS THE WORLD. PLEASE!!!!!!!.”

Moreover, the boxer recorded a brief video of himself in a taxi and shared it on his Instagram story, in which he can be seen tearing up to Leon Bridges’ ‘River’ while heading towards the award ceremony venue. In the same post, he was seen celebrating with his award at a dinner bash. The 25-year-old never fails to provide his fans with updates on his life, thoughts and feelings.

Ryan Garcia is recently in the media spotlight as he has tested positive for a performance-enhancing drug, Ostarine. This even begs the question of whether Garcia really defeated Devin Haney fair and square.

In the middle of all this, Garcia received some unpleasant remarks from Devin Haney’s father, Bill Haney. 

In a conversation with TMZ Sports, Bill Haney stated, “There’s nothing you can do with this guy but get him out of the sport.” He further went on to say that Ryan Garcia violated every known rule of conduct, and added, “He said he bet on the fight, but openly knowing he was cheating. So, he was cheating and betting.”

Despite the lack of an official ban yet, Garcia’s career faces a crossroads. If the positive test is confirmed, a suspension is highly likely, potentially derailing his momentum after the recent win over Haney. Even if cleared, the controversy could damage his reputation and marketability. The next few weeks will be crucial in determining the true impact of this situation.
