Fighters, be they mixed martial artists or boxers, are used to being called out, and challenged for fights. Perhaps, it comes with the line of work. But on the odd occasion, followers come across an off-the-wall dare. It turns the head of those who come to know about it. But additionally, it puzzles out the persons involved, often to their embarrassment. A short clip of such an instance involving YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI caught the eye of a few fans.
A few years ago, KSI appeared on ‘The Jonathan Ross Show.’ It was the time after he branched over to the influencer boxing scene. During the show, comedian Jack Whitehall, one of the guests, couldn’t help himself from asking, “Did you call out Mike Tyson?” To which KSI laughed merrily and said, “Well, it started off with me just, you know, being drunk, obviously that’s how most bad decisions start, and um yeah, for some reason, I thought, hey, I could take on mike tyson you know what? He’s what 40 50 60 like, he’s slow, he you know he’s not tough, I’ve got this, and then I, you know woke up the next day and realized the mistake I’ve made.”

So a short video that captured the Tyson segment came out yesterday. It has already received nearly 11k views and over three hundred likes. A few enterprising fans decided to share their opinions.
User Jay took a solid exception to KSI calling out ‘Iron’ Mike. According to him, the YouTuber acted foolishly in an inebriated condition. One punch from Tyson is enough the break KSI, “That drunk talk. He’d blow your ribs out with one punch.“
Jay received an immediate reply from Mubin, who said that even KSI would agree with what the former commented, besides millions across the globe, “I think everyone on this planet including KSI himself would agree with you.“
Then the user Jojo mentioned that it’s tough to understand KSI even when sober. All boxing lovers may as well remember when he said that he could defeat Floyd Mayweather Jr. “[It] doesn’t sound any different when he’s not drunk. Remember when he said he could beat Floyd Mayweather?” he said.
Laughing loudly, user Maxwell added, perhaps with an intended pun, that KSI called out Tyson since he rates himself a natural and genuine boxer! “Yeah, Cus [KSI] is a REAL boxer,” Maxwell said.

But user Ilias replying to Maxwell contends KSI stands better as a boxer than Jake Paul has ever been. He said, “He’s more real of a boxer than Jake ever was at least.”
Although, KSI clarified later that his challenge to Mike Tyson was a joke, and he knows that he could never defeat ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson in the ring. Last year, the YouTuber who became a boxing promoter with his Misfits Boxing launched a series of crossover boxing tournaments. Its seventh edition concluded on May 13. But much to everyone’s dismay, his bout against Joe Fournier ended on a controversial note. But the Professional Boxing Association (PBA) declared it a ‘no-contest.’
