Heavyweight Dereck Chisora is pretty well-known for his antics and quirky personality in the boxing world. From his hilarious comments in the press conferences to his occasional screaming at himself, Chisora is an absolute character.

In the build-up to his fight with the former undisputed cruiserweight champion and now heavyweight contender Oleksandr Usyk, he posted a funny Spider-Man meme challenging his rival for a showdown. The post depicts both Usyk and Chisora calling each other out.

The post is a reference to the multiple call-outs made by both parties on different occasions to each other through social media.
Usyk made a video while running on a beach asking Chisora where he was. And the latter recently posted a video of himself eating body shots from David Haye.
Although the two were previously scheduled to meet in May, it was postponed to due COVID-19 imposed lockdown. The bout has now been targeted to take place in October.
How will Dereck Chisora and Oleksandr Usyk fare against each other?
The undefeated Oleksandr Usyk (17-0, 13 KOs) is also an Olympic Gold Medalist. He bagged gold in the 2012 Olympics in the heavyweight division. He made his heavyweight debut in 2019 against Chazz Witherspoon, a bout he won by seventh-round stoppage.
His opponent Dereck Chisora (32-9, 23 KOs) might not have been a world champion, but he has the experience of being in the ring with the very best.
Although Usyk is the far more accomplished fighter, and has been touted as the man to beat the reigning heavyweight champions, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. Chisora might look to capitalize on this and use his experience to stop Usyk in his tracks.

This is a highly crucial bout for both. Winning this one could put one of them in title contention. And while Usyk might be the next big thing in the heavyweight division, he first has to go through a very resilient opponent, who won’t back down at any cost.
