Former interim lightweight champion, Ryan Garcia, recently got involved in an altercation with his arch rival, Gervonta Davis. ‘The Flash’ revealed that he and ‘Tank’ came really close to fighting after the two met in a nightclub. It was reported that Garcia apparently asked Davis, when the two could meet inside the ring which seemingly offended ‘Tank’.

Garcia even stated that Davis got a hold of his chain as the situation escalated. However, he added that due to the security present there, the two were forced to calm down. King Ry even took to Twitter and addressed the situation. He stated that he didn’t care about Davis taking away his chain and claimed that he would rather settle the scores in the ring than in the street.
I’m supposed to be terrified over street stuff, go ahead do whatever you want, I live in truth, you want the chain gervonta have it it’s okay, I don’t care, i rather drop your ass in the ring and buy another one ☝️ so flex your street shit on me all you want, i want to win.

This led to a fan asking Garcia, if ‘Tank’ had really snatched his chain. “Lmaooo wait this is real? Ryan really got his chain snatched by Tank?” he wrote

Moreover, Garcia even responded to the fan and revealed that Davis actually didn’t take away the chain. He stated that Davis was trying to make him worried by ‘touching’ the chain, which didn’t happen. He then added that Davis was forced to let go after which Garcia warned him.
Nah not snatched, he was touching it expecting I was going to act worried, when that didn’t happen. He simply let go and, i told him ima fuck him up when we fight and that’s it there’s your story. Btw you mentioned it first to elie sechbach. I would’ve never spoke on it.

Jeff Mayweather thinks Ryan Garcia has no chance against Gervonta Davis
During an interview with Fight Hype, Floyd Mayweather’s uncle and former trainer, Jeff Mayweather, revealed his take on Garcia vs Davis clash. According to him, although Garcia is a skilled boxer and taller than ‘Tank,’ he doesn’t have the power. He stated that Davis could end the fight with one punch and claimed that he hasn’t seen Garcia come close to replicating this.

“I pick Gervonta all the way. I don’t think Ryan has a chance at all. Everybody that fought Tank is taller than him. That don’t mean anything. Tank has got something that everybody else don’t have, and that’s the equalizer. It ain’t nothing like Tank,” he said. While Davis is certainly the more experienced boxer among the two, Garcia’s skill cannot be overlooked. Moreover, he is just 26 years old and making his way up in the lightweight division.
