The picture of the duo has evoked memories and emotions in boxing fans around the world. Many have taken to Facebook to share their thoughts about Joe Martin and his disciple, ‘The Greatest’ Muhammad Ali.
While some dug deep in history, some recognized the excellent trainer that Martin was. Others were keen on noticing how thin Cassius Clay in the picture had looked. Soon after the 1960 Olympics, Ali turned pro and fought Tunney Hunsaker in his first fight.
